Crispy chili oil

Crispy chili oil

Hi Reader,

It suddenly became a "thing"; crispy chili oil. So naturally I had to try for myself what the fuss was all about. And I was hooked! Crispy chili oil is one of those condiments that really go with so much different dishes. I add it to a dressing, stir fry dishes or simply scoop a little bit over my fried eggs. And the good news is; you can easily make crispy chili oil at home! Check how to do so here. But be warned; it's addictive stuff!

Pointed cabbage

Are you a pumpkin fan or not so much? Hi Reader, I can still remember the time when pumpkin wasn't all that big of a deal here in the Netherlands. Sure you could find a stray butternut squash here and there but more than a pumpkin soup wasn't really made. O boy how that changed! And I'm glad it did too, because I love pumpkin! And while you can find pumpkin all year round, there is no better pumpkin season than autumn! So to give you a head start I've collected 15 of my favorite pumpkin...

Affogato

A fancy word for ice coffee Hi Reader, It suddenly popped up everywhere. At least here (in the Netherlands) you can now find affogato almost in every single restaurant or café, while up until recently no one had ever heard of this Italian ice coffee. And while I am not one to follow all the food hypes, I couldn't resist making this insanely delicious ice coffee. So you can try it too! And trust me it is the easiest ever. With just two ingredients! Affogato How good does this look right?...

Do more with popsicles! Hi Reader, Over here it seems that summer has finally started. It took long enough with endless amounts of rain, but now that june is almost over, it seems the good weather has finally arrived. And whenever the sun shines I feel the need to make popsicles. Not only are they the easiest ice cream out there but they're also pretty healthy. Depending on what you put it them of course, but with a bit of yogurt and fresh fruits, you can't really go wrong!
